Teltu is made by Andaca LLC. These terms cover the Teltu app and this site. By using either, you agree to them.
The app
The app is licensed to you, not sold. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to it, together with these terms. Where the two differ, these terms apply between you and Andaca LLC.
Subscriptions
Teltu costs $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year in the United States. Elsewhere the App Store shows the price in your own currency.
Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple account settings. Refunds for purchases made in the app are handled by Apple, under Apple’s policies.
Scholars
People who write to us from a university address can be given free access. We decide each request, and access may be reviewed.
Donations
Donations are voluntary gifts to Andaca LLC to pay for the work described on this site. They do not buy goods or services. Andaca LLC is a company, not a charity, so donations are not tax-deductible.
Donations made in the app are handled by Apple, and refunds for them go through Apple. If you make a donation on this site by mistake, write to us within 30 days and we will refund it.
The cards
The printed sources behind the cards are in the public domain, and they stay that way. The translations, notes, histories and design that Teltu adds belong to Andaca LLC. You may read, keep and share cards for your own use, and teachers may use them in class, set them as exercises and build on them without asking. You may not copy the collection in bulk or republish it.
Answers you send
If you answer one of the open questions, you allow us to use your answer on the card and in the collection. Your name appears only if you say yes.
Accuracy
We work to get every line right and say plainly what is not settled. Even so, the cards are offered as they are, without any guarantee that they are complete or free of error. To the extent the law allows, Andaca LLC is not liable for losses that come from using the app or this site.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes first, with the date.
